Somewhere You Belong (Carrington Cove #1) by Harlow James

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This book is a sweet and spicy contemporary romance that will have you swooning over a new book boyfriend.

I really enjoyed this book. The chemistry between Willow and Dallas, first in the form of bickering and then in the former of teasing, was palpable. Their easy banter and sexy flirting was adorable. Who knew there was such a thing as manners kink? Willow is determined and uptight, Dallas is caring but cautious. Both are grumpy in their own way. Both have not had a relationship in a long time, but are jolted awake by the other. I like how they both lie to themselves that they aren’t drawn to the other.

The Fake Out Flex (Hockeymances #1) by Ash Kelly

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This sweet, witty, closed-door pro hockey sports romance gave me all the feels. It’s hard to believe it’s the author’s debut because it’s so well written. It has some of my favorite tropes and was a delight to read. If you like Pro hockey sports romance, Fake dating, Brother’s best friend, High school crush, Boy obsessed, Cozy small town feels, Chosen family, and Closed door romance tropes, you’ll love it too.

Foul Days by Genoveva Dimova (The Witches Compendium of Monsters #1)

Today is my stop on TBR and Beyond Tours book tour for this new adult fantasy book. The cover is so cool and the concept sounds unique.

TOP FIVE REASONS TO READ THIS BOOK:

  1. The Witcher meets Naomi Novik. What more needs to be said?
  2. New, creative monsters
  3. An ex called the “Tsar of Monsters”

There’s only one monster Kosara can’t defeat: her ex the Zmey, known as the Tsar of Monsters. She’s defied him one too many times, and now he’s hunting her. Betrayed to him by someone close to her, Kosara’s only hope is to trade her shadow―the source of her powers―for illegal passage across the Wall to Belograd, where monsters can’t follow.

Isabel and the Rogue (The Luna Sisters, #2) by Liana De La Rosa

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I’m thrilled to be a part of Berkley’s blog tour of Isabel and the Rogue. The three heiress Luna sisters were sent from Mexico to England to protect them during the French Occupation. Isabel is the sister who is easily ignored and dismissed during social events. It makes her the perfect spy to snoop in aristocratic homes during parties for British intelligence that may help Mexico during the war. Captain Sirius Dawson is a spy for the home office befriending foolish politicians and seducing well-born ladies to learn their secrets. He catches Isabel snooping in an office and it is on.
