Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier

little secrets

4 stars

This emotional mystery/thriller about a woman’s downward spiral after the kidnapping of her 4 year old son, and the crumbling of her 20 year marriage, will suck you in and not let go until the end. I loved the author’s previous book, Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier, so was thrilled when I got the chance to read and review this book. Continue reading “Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier”

Things in Jars by Jess Kidd

things in jars

I haven’t read a lot of gothic books, mainly because I’m a big chicken and get scared easily. (It’s why I don’t read or review horror books) The gothic books I’ve read aren’t necessarily scary per se, but they can be creepy. There were times in this book when I felt a bit creeped out – which I guess is the purpose, right? SO, job well done, Ms. Kidd! Continue reading “Things in Jars by Jess Kidd”
