Most Eligible by Isabelle Engel

Rating: 4 out of 5.

3. 5 stars rounded up. Release date 1-13-2026

This is a cute, contemporary romance that takes place on set of a Bachelor-type dating show. Georgia Rose applied and was accepted to be on the reality dating show to write an exposé on the producers, who she suspects of doing horrible things for ratings. What she didn’t expect was to run into her unforgettable one-night stand from the year before, country singer Rhett Auburn, who was the Bachelor in the show the previous year. He’s the season’s new host, and if the producers find out she knows him, all her plans are out the window.

The Holiday Post (Hideaway Harbor #4) by L.B. Dunbar

If you’ve been crushing on the “Target Santa”, you’re going to love this book. This is another book in the Christmas at Hideaway Harbor series and this time the story involves single mother Lumi who works in the small town’s post office and Saint, a globe-trotting toy mogul who crashes his fancy sports car just outside of town. Circumstances caused Lumi to stay in her small hometown although all she’s ever wanted was to see the world. Saint feels pressured by family expectations and wants to slow down and have something just for himself for a change, especially if it means having someone special in his life.

If You Claim Me (Toronto Terror, #5) by Helena Hunting

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I love the Toronto Terror book series and the found family it’s created. This is book 5 in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone. Mildred (Dred to her friends) is so strong I instantly loved her. She has a lot of past trauma but she actively works to not let it affect her life. Connor is so broken and misunderstood my heart melted every time someone put him down and he had to act like it didn’t affect him. Being a grumpy jerk is his defense mechanism, but his mask slips when he’s with Dred. I loved that she saw right through his act to the man beneath and gave him comfort and support.
