This book is a sweet and spicy contemporary romance that will have you swooning over a new book boyfriend.

I really enjoyed this book. The chemistry between Willow and Dallas, first in the form of bickering and then in the former of teasing, was palpable. Their easy banter and sexy flirting was adorable. Who knew there was such a thing as manners kink? Willow is determined and uptight, Dallas is caring but cautious. Both are grumpy in their own way. Both have not had a relationship in a long time, but are jolted awake by the other. I like how they both lie to themselves that they aren’t drawn to the other.

Dallas is a swoon-worthy book boyfriend that makes Willow feel safe and protected. Willow challenges Dallas and doesn’t immediately fawn over him, which turns him on. I liked how their relationship naturally progressed from enemies, to friends, to more. They find the walls around themselves slowly start to melt away until they let each other in. The support they receive from their friends was great, and they added levity to the book. I look forward to reading one of their stories in the next book in the series. I hope it’s Astrid and Penn’s turn to fall in love.

I received a complimentary e-copy of this book from The Author Agency. All opinions are my own.
