This is another fun book in the Aurora Teagarden book series. In this book, Aurora has just given birth to daughter Sophie. She and Aubrey are settling into the routine of new parents when the body of a murdered woman is found in their backyard. Once again, the couple is embroiled in a crazy mystery that they can’t help but try to solve themselves.
As usual, the book is a quick, fun, effortless read. It has humor and enough twists to keep the reader engaged to the end.

This is the first book in the series of Det. Grace Macallan. Grace was a detective in Northern Ireland during the “troubles” and after an incident must leave the City and her job in disgrace. She is hired as a detective in the newly formed Lothian & Borders Major Crime Team, where she hopes to rebuild her life, career and reputation. After getting the team up and running, they are assigned to investigate a series of brutal prostitute assaults and murder.
