A Little Christmas Matchmaking (The Paradise Book 2) by Carolyn Brown

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This is a very cute Christmas romance that’s book two in The Paradise book series but can be read as a stand alone. Tripp owns a leather shop in small town Spanish Fork, Texas and needs to hire help. Former leather shop owner Hank recently lost his wife and is looking for PT work. He moves to town, bringing his granddaughter Willa Rose with him. He helps her set up an antique store in the small town. Tripp comes from a big, loving family, complete with matchmaker Great Aunt Bernie. She’s decided that it’s high time Tripp finds love and is determined to find him a match. Preferably with Willa Rose. Both of them resist Bernie’s shenanigans, but can’t deny their attraction to each other.

The Holiday Post (Hideaway Harbor #4) by L.B. Dunbar

Rating: 4 out of 5.

If you’ve been crushing on the “Target Santa”, you’re going to love this book. This is another book in the Christmas at Hideaway Harbor series and this time the story involves single mother Lumi who works in the small town’s post office and Saint, a globe-trotting toy mogul who crashes his fancy sports car just outside of town. Circumstances caused Lumi to stay in her small hometown although all she’s ever wanted was to see the world. Saint feels pressured by family expectations and wants to slow down and have something just for himself for a change, especially if it means having someone special in his life.

If You Claim Me (Toronto Terror, #5) by Helena Hunting

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I love the Toronto Terror book series and the found family it’s created. This is book 5 in the series, but can be read as a stand-alone. Mildred (Dred to her friends) is so strong I instantly loved her. She has a lot of past trauma but she actively works to not let it affect her life. Connor is so broken and misunderstood my heart melted every time someone put him down and he had to act like it didn’t affect him. Being a grumpy jerk is his defense mechanism, but his mask slips when he’s with Dred. I loved that she saw right through his act to the man beneath and gave him comfort and support.
