I loved this book. It’s both heartbreaking and hopeful. It draws you in and you won’t want to put the book down.
Naomi was once a “lost girl” and managed to escape her captors. Haunted by her past and frustrated with her inability to remember what happened to her, she earns a living as a private investigator tracking down lost and missing children. Her relentless determination in pursuing the children earns her the nickname “The Child Finder”.
Naomi’s latest case is centered close to the area where she grew up. Five year old Madison disappeared in one of Oregon’s National Forests while her family was searching for a Christmas tree. Three years later her parents are desperate to find out what happened to their daughter and hire Naomi to find out the truth. As Naomi begins to search the harsh wilderness for Madison, she begins to have intense dreams about her time in captivity. Could she finally be on the path to discovery the secrets of her own past?
It appears that this is book one of a series, and if so, I can’t wait to read the next book. I highly recommend you read this book.
