A very good book in a YA Fantasy series.
This is the fourth book in the book series. Sera has continued getting to know the Prince from Kingfountain and they are engaged to be married. Her hope is that their marriage will end the war between their two kingdoms. When her father is killed, she is next in line for the throne, and yet must still win over the Council.
Sera’s best friend Cettie has been rocked with some devastating news that changes her outlook on her life and the Knowing. Based on new information available to her, she believes she must stop Sera’s wedding. She steps away from Fitzroy’s manor and embarks on a journey to learn more about her past, but she may not like what she finds.
The two women are on very different paths, both hoping to live their truth.
As usual, there is a lot of action, intrigue and mystery. I can’t wait to see how this series ends!
I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
