Rating: 4 out of 5.

This was a cute college sports romance between a gymnast and a baseball player. Both Adalee and Hagan were burned by their exes and not looking to get into a relationship any time soon. But, their instant chemistry intrigues Hagan and he starts pursuing Adalee, even though she tries to fight her attraction to him. As they get to know each other, it’s clear they were made to be together.

This was a very predictable he-falls-first romcom, but Adalee and Hagan were so cute and sweet I still enjoyed it. Although this is a sports romance, there was actually very little sports in the book. Rather, the storylines focused on the characters’ teammate relationships and college life. The book stirred up old memories of my college days, which added to the fun. If you’re looking for a fluffy, light read to pass the time with for an afternoon, this is the perfect book to pick up.

I received a complimentary e-copy of this book from Katie and Brey PA and the author. All opinions are my own.
