Scarlett and Cian (a royal in hiding) had a sizzling weekend together two years ago and Cian has been looking for her ever since. When his body guard finally tells Cian that he’s found her, Cian drops everything to go to Scarlett. Scarlett returned to her small hometown where she is not welcomed with open arms. She is trying to make up for being a Queen B in high school and trying to raise her daughter, with her sister’s help, to be better than she was. Cian’s appearance definitely disrupts their routine.

I loved this book. Single mom Scarlett and Prince Cian have fantastic chemistry and there’s nothing hotter than a man that falls first and is willing to do whatever it takes to win over his woman. The characters are so fun and I loved the camaraderie between Cian and his bodyguard Henry and Scarlett and her twin Ruby. The relationship Scarlett has with her daughter Mariah and Mariah’s best friend Greta is wonderful. So open, honest and loving – every mother/daughter’s dream.

Scarlett is conflicted about several things, and her bid to seek redemption plays havoc with her actual wants and desires. One of which is Cian. Their dirty talk is off the charts and the spicy scenes scorch the pages. I loved how vulnerable they are with each other, further cementing their bond.

If you like flirty, red-hot romance, this fun and easy read is just for you.
