A ship heading back to earth from deep space is hit by debris and damaged. The AI supercomputer running the ship is woke early to make repairs and ensure that the ship stays on course. While the crew members didn’t know each other before the journey, they were fed information about each other and their skills were updated so that they would be prepared for duty once they woke up.
