This was a really good mystery/thriller. The story is intense and keeps the reader’s attention right to the end. It’s a very quick read and I had a hard time putting the book down.

The story centers on 3 high school friends, Angela, Georgina and Kaiser. When they were 16 years old, Angela disappeared without a trace. No one seems to know what happened to her. Fourteen years later Georgina is working as a high powered executive at a pharmaceutical company and Kaiser is working as a police detective when the authorities discover Angela’s dismembered body in the woods behind Georgina’s house. Everyone is shocked when it’s discovered that Georgina’s high school boyfriend Calvin is a serial killer responsible for killing several young women, including Angela. Even more shocking, Georgina not only knew about Angela’s murder, she helped Calvin bury the body.

Calvin is sentenced to prison but quickly escapes. Georgina is sentenced to 5 years in prison. When she is released and returns to her childhood home, she is not welcomed with open arms. Georgina tries to move on with her life, but still has secrets that have yet to be revealed and lives in constant fear of them coming out. Even more disturbing, Calvin is still on the loose and dead bodies start turning up in the woods behind her house. Is Calvin seeking his final revenge, or is there a more disturbing presence at play?

The book has plenty of twists and turns and keeps the reader guessing to the end. I highly recommend you read this book.
