I really enjoy this book series, but this was my least favorite book so far. The story starts out with a young man named Billy visiting Strike at his office. The man clearly has mental health issues, with paranoid delusions. He insists that when he was a young child he witnessed another child being killed near his home. Another great book from this author! It is a quick and easy read with plenty of suspense and twists and turns to keep you turning the pages until the very end. The story is compelling and the characters are interesting. Even when you think you’ve figured the mystery out, you’re not quite sure you know the truth. Holy.Cow. Now that’s what I call a sequel!! This is the second book in the 4MK Thriller book series and it does not disappoint. If you haven’t read the first book The Fourth Monkey you need to read it now so that you’re ready when this book comes out in July.
