Ugh. I don’t even know where to start with this book. The premise is promising and the book started out ok, but was just way too slow to hold my attention. Billy goes back to his hometown to visit his ailing sister and runs into his high school sweetheart Aimi. She tells him she wants to fake her death and disappear to escape her abusive husband and his powerful family.
